The DiscoveryVision Genealogy Project is dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of genelogical and related historical information. Below, on this page, you will find links to a broad collection of documents and images associated with the ALEXANDER, COPLEY, IRONS, LEVI, McGILLARD, SELLARS, SKIPP, and WEITZ surnames. Within these pages and documents, you will also find (to a lesser extent) information regarding the BIRDSALL, BROWN, HESS, and TORRENCE family lines.   • Levi family (aka DELEVE)of Canada, Michigan and Texas -- Starting with Maxim (b. 1813) and second son Antoine Pierre (b. 1850). Then moving on to the families of Antoine's two sons: Lawrence "Clyde" Levi and Earl Antoine Levi.
  • Copley family of Michigan, New York, Massachusets and England. Edith Gertrude Copley married Antoine Pierre Levi on Sept. 12, 1874. This page traces the Copley line from Edith back to John Copley and his son Thomas who was born October 30, 1597 in England
  • Alexander, John (b. 1779) -- This is a biography of John Alexander. John and his wife Ruth had a daughter named Caroline who married Hiram H. Copley. Their daughter Edith Gertrude Copley is said to have been the first white girl born in Wexford County, Michigan. Edith married Antoine Pierre Levi.
  • McGillard family of Ohio and Indiana. This family is connected by the 1841 marriage of Jane McGillard to William Sellars.

Ontario Land Records Index -- this is an excerpt of entries covering LEVEY, LEVI, LEVIE, and LEVIS land transactions in Ontario between 1823 and 1870.

Ontario Cemeteries -- this list contains cemetery information for 415 individuals with surnames that include the following spellings: LEVI, LEVY, LEVIS, LAVIS, LEBEAU, LEVIE, LEVAI, LAVAI, LAVE, LEVAY, LABAY, LABEY. It is based on cemetery data originally compiled by volunteers of the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid Project (OCFA).

The French Canadians (1600-1900) -- this is my compilation of 50 selected records from a book titled "The French Canadians" covering surnames with the following spellings: LEVEY, LEVI, LEVIE, and LEVIS.
